My role in this position was to book in patients when they arrived for their appointments, pre-screening, creating patient records, and filing. I also dispensed glasses to the patients after their eye tests. Other duties included carrying out cash and card transactions, stock taking, re-stocking shelves and ordering stock, setting up new direct debit mandates for customers and closing the shop at the end of the trading day.
