Kg1 homeroom teachers Responsibilities include:- Teaching UOI, English, Math, Science, Geography, Social Studies and Sciences to 25 students using the high/scope model and PYP curriculum.- Planning co-cooperatively with team members , monthly , weekly and annually - Assessing students, completing student reports, holding parents conferences- Knowledge and implementation of PYP and its inquiry cycle-Individually creating weekly planners -Creating classroom displays and corridor displays representing the Units

Role as Pre-school teacher*Key pre-school teacher for 19 children aged 3.5-4years*Key Montessori teacher for the center*Planning on a weekly, monthly and annual basis using Sialta and Aistear guidelines*Implementing the Montessori curriculum and engaging with the children in a child lead environment Role as Supervisor*Key holder for center rotating with management in the opening and closing off the center *Work alongside management to implement policies and procedures and to regularly train staff new and old in all policies and procedures*Plan monthly staff meetings *keep all children files updated and stored correctly in line with the HSE regulations *Work with staff and parents when necessarily with regards to any complaints, issues or queries * Complete monthly and weekly Salary sheets*Create monthly staff roster*Archive all class registers/sleep records/accident and illness records on a weekly basisRole as Fire Safety Officer:*Ensure all staff are trained in how to respond in the even of an emergency*Ensure all children are aware off the steps to take in an emergency (as much as developmentally expected off them)*Carry out a monthly (random) emergency evacuation* Complete a monthly fire and safety report and evaluation sheet
