A little bit about me...My background in writing is varied. My collegiate experience was focused around Journalism as I interned for many magazines and crafted my feature writing skills. Upon graduation, I worked for Boston Scientific in Clinical Research for over a year. During this year I discovered my interest for the medical/biotech field. Soon after leaving Boston Scientific, I was able to combine my love for writing and a new found interest in biotech at my current position with Cambridge BioMarketing. I have been working with this agency for 2 1/2 years. I love what I do and enjoy the challenge of writing compelling, creative copy that lives within the tight confines of FDA guidelines. I enjoy the unruly beast we call advertising and live for the pitch.Writing comes as natural to me as breathing does and from the moment I learned how to scribble a coherent sentence on a piece of paper was the moment I deemed myself a writer. I live and write in color. To me there is nothing more beautiful than words and art aligning just right to elicit an emotional response. But more importantly, behind that beauty and emotion is the foundation for any good advertising..."the sell." Art emotionally moves the consumer but good advertising forces them to act.My goal is to eventually become a Senior Copywriter and freelance for the consumer audience part-time.Specialties: I work as the writer for our internal PR team at Cambridge BioMarketing.
