Adapt practices and documentation in order to train colleagues in the use of social media and best practices for developing and posting content. Serve as the system administrator for the department’s social media monitoring tool. Revise social media policy and commenting guidelines as needed and proactively communicate any changes with team members. Actively monitor trends, tools and best practices in social media and electronic communications to appropriately adapt to the needs of stakeholders and customers. Manage customer projects from inception to completion. Use qualitative and quantitative methods to evaluate and assess the effectiveness of recommended tactics and solutions in order to best meet intended project outcomes. Work through approval processes, being certain to support both the customer’s needs and the College’s strategic plan, goals and overall brand. Throughout all projects, continuously track and provide status updates to all parties involved. Manage and coordinate budgets, events, tactics, outcomes, etc., associated with the project plan.

I provide marketing and social media consulting as well as any graphic design as necessary. Projects can include rebranding, website maintenance/creation, and ad creation. Oversee development of proposal or qualifications outline, schedules, and task assignments for compliance with RFP and RFQ requirements. At the Oconee Economic Alliance, the Economic Development office for Oconee County, I assisted with multiple graphic design projects for marketing strategies as well as research purposes. I led The Great Oconee Clean Up which was a county wide clean up effort that is on going currently. I helped to brainstorm the planning as well as get inputs on designs for flyers and social media items. I recently developed a website for Think Oconee and put together social media teasers for the release of the lifestyle video for Think Oconee through Destination Oconee. As they call me, I am the “Director of First Impressions” so I was the one that most people deal with first hand when coming into contact with the OEA.

I worked in the President’s Office helping to execute daily office tasks as well as set up for board meetings through preparing the binders with the meeting content as well as decorating. I helped throughout all of the summer orientations for the Bridge to Clemson program. Through the internship, I was asked to do multiple handouts for special events and elections as well as the TCTC Foundation Thanksgiving Card for 2016.

I worked exclusively with print buyers where I got experience gathering quotes for different print jobs, as well as making connections with printers to find out what they would have to offer the company. I also worked with product managers with help setting up different bays and writing instructions for set up to send out to representatives in Home Depot across the country. Also assisted with organizing POP and products to be sent out to representatives to use for set up of bays in store.
