Building a healthy and thriving community starts with the family. My professional journey began in customer service as a teller in a bank during high school. I continued my education to become a teacher with the hopes to shape the lives of the youngest students. When I completed my student teaching, I made a decision to stay home for a few years to raise my new baby. In 2004, I was blessed to started a job that allowed me to grow in skills, working with 8 different school district, 10 middle schools, and over 1600 students a year. In 2012 began a job that allowed me to make a difference with families. I worked as a Parents as Teacher home visitor and program manager, where I was able to work with children and parents to begin empowering families to set goals and make a better life for themselves. I am passionate about this work and have been doing this kind of work for 10 years. Currently I run a ParentChild+ program and Play & Learn program for West Valley School District. I love the children and the families we serve, and have a desire to do more for the community, state, nation, and the world!!!!
