As a child care worker,I help to integrate students with special needs within the regular school setting while encouraging autonomy. I assist students in transitions and supervise the students at recess, lunch time and during activities. I help students wash and dress themselves and eat their meals. I help manage behavioural difficulties that take place in.

During the summer I was required to perform the following tasks:- I worked with children and teens with special needs. - I taught social skills in order to integrate the youth within a camp setting. -I helped feed and prepare campers for swimming lessons.- I adapted/modified sport activities for the campers with special needs.
