I am a restructuring and insolvency specialist with more than 20 years’ experience, working across a range of businesses in the finance, hospitality, education, retail, printing, manufacturing and construction sectors. I have worked on a number of large and complex engagements, rapidly identifying key operational issues whilst working under pressure and effectively managing trading operations to generate the best outcome for stakeholders. I have led the trading of many of New Zealand’s high profile retail receiverships such as Wild Pair, Shanton, Andrea Moore, Topshop and Ziera Shoes which has entailed managing a large number of employees and devising stock realisation and marketing strategies. My ability to identify and manage issues, communicate and motivate staff together with my extensive experience assists in generating enhanced returns for creditors and clients.I also have expertise in forensic investigations and litigation support, having led a number of high profile investigations in various sectors. I have worked to identify and quantify fraud resulting in the imprisonment of senior employees and securing large financial settlements. I was also involved in conducting investigations in one of New Zealand’s largest receiverships, South Canterbury Finance Limited.
