Developing roster of instructional arts classes and workshops for varying ages and abilitiesCreating yearly Education Budget, including instructor/program expenses and registration revenue projectionsRecruiting, hiring, and supervising contracted instructors and summer staffConducting research of educational program trends and comparable price points in order to stay market competitiveOverseeing lesson planning with core children’s programs and Summer CampMonitoring curriculum for adult programsContract/fee negotiation with instructorsCopy writing of class descriptions for marketing collateral & website upkeep with current and upcoming program informationEvaluating instructor qualifications and teaching ability/methodsAssisting and providing input in design of marketing collateral (posters, social media posts, etc.) required for educational programsDeveloping and keeping current Registration PoliciesMaintaining adequate level of program suppliesAdministrative duties such as class list creation, database management Creating and defining logistics to deliver pilot program, “Kaleidoscope in the Schools” which features performing arts shows in puppetry, music, theatre, and dance to be delivered to 16 local elementary schools free of charge, serving almost 4000 students. Responsibilities include:Creating, defining and coordinating all presenting logistics for each schoolCoordinating of all artist logistics; travel, hospitality, ground transportationActing as main point-of-contact for elementary school teachers, principals, and superintendentsCoordinating professional development workshop for teachers to implement performing arts curriculum in their classrooms; sourcing service provider and assisting in defining curriculum connectionsCoordinating arts-infused workshop for students delivered by contracted performersLiaising with participating schools to set out metrics, data, KPIs and measurables; reporting for granting expectations, donors, and sponsors
