I have past experiences in event management which included planning events for two municipalities and coordinating with vendors staff and volunteers. I helped to plan the youth programming as well as senior planning and new ideas to draw in participants. I held a job at Golftown for over ten years and was a sales associate, apparel sales representative and helped to train new staff. I had to be able to multi task, sell, and create collections as well as work with a team to ensure that customers were looked after as well as completing daily tasks. I worked as a PSW with medical administration abilities during nursing school at a retirement / long term care home. I helped to assist with daily care and health concerns of residents. I worked as an RPN at Spencer house long term care once finishing nursing school where I was in charge of the care for 32 residents and supervising the PSWs on shift. I also worked with the RAI coordinator to update residents files and come up with care plans for residents. I also was part of the wound team and took continuing education courses on wounds to ensure wounds did not progress or to stop the prevention of wounds starting. I worked at OSMH as an RPN on the medical telemetry floor. I looked after patients that were acutely ill and needed to be able to prioritize their care and work with the other members on the interdisciplinary team to provide effect care. I was part of the skin and wound committee and implemented strategies for better skin care and wound prevention while in hospital. I took courses on wound care to help provide up to date strategies on the best practices.
