I believe in the power of communication for a good purpose. I love making a difference to the daily work experience of thousands of people. This makes life better for my many colleagues and also benefits their teams, customers and the purpose-driven organisations I choose to work for. I am a natural writer with the (rare!) ability to combine attention to detail with strategic thinking to achieve results. From new leaders to brand launches, cultural change programs, restructures, enterprise bargaining and safety emergencies, I develop successful communication strategies to drive transformational change and to manage issues and crises.My 'happy place' involves leading high-performing teams and supporting senior leaders to improve strategic communication for large, complex organisations. At Western Sydney University and Western Sydney Local Health District, I had the privilege of working closely with a new Vice-Chancellor and a new Chief Executive to transform employee engagement and culture. With exemplary leadership communication, we achieved tangible results including a 15% improvement in perceptions of senior leader communication at the University, and a doubling of participation in the People Matter Employee Survey at the Local Health District.
