Program Manager
Current• Senior Technical Specialist, solely responsible for expediting and quality inspection coordination of horsepower/compression orders (new and refurbished) and related drop ship components.• Manage company's service-related operations. Supervise, mentor and manage expediting and coordination activities of subordinate staff assigned to multiple midstream, natural gas, new construction, reversal and upgrade projects. Specifically:• Direct and manage project development. • Define project scope, goals and deliverables to achieve client goals. • Develop and distribute project and communications plans, proposals, requirements documentation, progress reports, and presentations. • Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis. • Draft and submit cost proposals, and recommend subsequent cost changes. Measure actual costs and progress against approved budgets and report variances. • Participate in design reviews with engineering contractors. • Define, continually manage, and communicate project success criteria and expectations with team members and project stakeholders. • Determine and assess need for additional staff and screen potential recruits. • Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work. Provide technical support, assistance, and direction toward performance excellence and project goals. • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path. • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team. • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans. • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
