Current Activity:I am changing careers therefore currently studying Sociology, Arts & Education at college. I believe this course will give me a good understanding of which direction I can go to create a new career that I’m passionate about. The long term goal is to get into a career where I can help people. I aim to go to university following this college course for 2 years. Past experience:I am an experienced Finance Supervisor with a demonstrated history of working in the occupational health industry. Skilled in Sage Products for example Sage 200, Sage 50 and Sage Payroll also including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Management and Teamwork. Strong finance professional graduated from North East Scotland College achieving an A for my HNC in Accounting which I studied on a part time basis in the evenings for 2 years. I have goals to continue with studying to progress.My journey in accounts started in 2010, with a temporary Accounts Payable position role through Wood Group. Once the contract ended, I went on to work for another company in a temporary Accounts Payable position. Following this, I was employed by my current employer as an Accounts Assistant. I was originally hired for Trinity International Ltd then I was transferred and promoted to International Medical Management. This experience has enabled me to learn new systems, processes and to learn various ways that companies run their Finance department.By working for Trinity International Services Ltd I have strong experience working in finance for an offshore catering company. This position was great as I went on from learning accounts payable to learning so much more functions and aspects of the finance department for example sales invoicing, bank reconciliation and payroll (UK & International). I loved the variety of the role and it was during this time that I decided to go to college to achieve my HNC in Accounting.I was then transferred and promoted to Finance Supervisor with one of my employers sister companies, International Medical Management Ltd therefore have 10 years of service for my employer. Over the years, since starting my journey working in accounts my skills and experience has went from strength to strength and my goal is to continue learning to increase my personal growth in my career in order to embrace new challenges.
