As the Archival Lead at Know History, I created and disseminated guidelines on conducting archival research, photographing cultural material, and tracking archival material for our various research projects. I also coordinated archival research trips and communicated with institutions about collection information and access. As a Historical Researcher, I conducted extensive primary research and wrote memos outlining our findings. I also assisted in the management of an internal database that contained thousands of cultural items (photographs, artifacts, videos and audio files) and its corresponding metadata. Throughout both roles, I successfully balanced competing priorities and deadlines across multiple concurrent projects.

As a Research Associate at Know History, I completed data entry, reviewed genealogical files and information, and conducted final quality assurance on on a large-scale and multi-year genealogical project. I also wrote workflows and guidelines for a portion of this project, trained staff on file review and quality assurance, ensured weekly deadlines were met, and provided administrative support. I completed genealogical and archival research in support of other projects.

As the TD Intern in Collections Management, I assisted with a large rehousing and labelling project for photographic works from the photography collection and assisted with handling, moving, and rehousing sculptural works in storage. I conducted inventories of installed and permanently housed works from the collection. I used the internal databases to generate lists, work orders, and labels, and I was consistently verifying the location of works in the collection, corresponding with other staff members, and processing different retrieval requests for staff and visitors.

As a Curatorial Assistant in the Photographs Collection department, I assisted with managing and preparing an extensive textual and photographic collection for digitization. Through this, I created, entered, and managed metadata for the collection in preparation for an interpretive website. I also assisted in planning the design and user experience of for the interpretive website alongside other team members.

As an Exhibitions Assistant, I conducted primary and secondary research for exhibitions. I also organized research, submitted reports, and communicated with external clients and colleagues in preparation for loans and exhibitions.

As a research assistant at the Carleton University Art Gallery, I conducted both primary and secondary research on contemporary and historic artists for the gallery's upcoming exhibitions and acquisitions Assisted exhibiting artists with primary research. Specifically, I compiled archival research on behalf of Vancouver artist Carol Sawyer for her exhibition "Carol Sawyer: The Natalie Brettschneider Archive" (CUAG 2016). Curated an exhibition entitled "Vibrant Landscapes: Eight Prints by Jacques Hurtubise" for the Carleton University Library.

While at the National Gallery of Canada, I worked on a semester long project where I organized and catalogued the sketchbooks of Canadian artist Alex Colville. A colleague and I were also responsible for digitizing each individual sketchbook along with approximately 1000 loose drawings by the artist.

As a Teaching Assistant, I planned and led tutorials for groups of students for Art History 1101 (Winter 2014) Art and Society: Renaissance to the Present, and Art History 1100 (Fall 2013) - Prehistory to the Renaissance. I encouraged discussions and critical engagement with class material, graded essays, midterms, finals, and other assignments. I also responded to students' emails and held office hours for in-person inquiries.

As a conservation lab intern, I acquired skills in how to analyze an art work and document its problems, concerns and possible solutions. I assisted in making decisions that impacted the overall stability and preservation of a work of art, and I implemented necessary techniques to conserve the work and ensure its artistic integrity. For my semester as an intern, I worked primarily on a plaster sculpture piece that was a part of the permanent collection of the Owens Art Gallery.

As the summer gallery assistant at the Owens Art Gallery, I was responsible for the digitization of portions of the Owens'​ permanent collection. I assisted with research for and the preparation and installation of the exhibition 'Alex Colville: Student Years'. I was also in charge of managing the schedules and payrolls of other summer staff members. The Alex Colville House Museum, owned and staffed by the Owens Art Gallery, was also one of my responsibilities, as I managed its schedule and ensured that it ran effectively for the summer months. My position allowed me to assist with planning and conducting tours and programs for a range of groups, including children and persons with disabilities.
