CurrentI have had extensive experience (30yrs) in the disability sector in various positions; Support Worker roles, Senior Worker roles, Support Coordinator role and am currently a Coordinator of Supports. I am a passionate and dedicated worker and have demonstrated adherence to case management practice, process and principles at all times ensuring positive, timely outcomes. I have a commitment to the families and individuals I support using a person centred, strength based approach, supporting people with their hopes, dreams and aspirations focusing on quality of life and meaningful experiences. My years of employment in the disability sector has enabled me to establish valued relationships with carers and care recipients from a variety of backgrounds, cultures, different forms of disability and different support needs, always ensuring the person who is receiving the service has the most choice and control possible over their life and services. I successfully network with other organisations, families and allied health agencies, I achieve this through active listening, thoughtful practice, passionate commitment and by working towards people's dreams, ensuring case plans are regularly reviewed, being flexible, transferable and effective in my approach.
