I also enjoy participating in training initiatives through co-design projects, mentoring and facilitating workshops.

This role involved maintaining and uplifting intensive online courses that were offered by James Cook University and Southern Cross University. I collaborated with academics on short projects (1-2 months) to overhaul the assessment design, improve UX/LX and address accessibility deficiencies. This work improved learner satisisfaction scores and the currency of legacy courses. I also honed my technical skills by supporting colleagues with new courses using H5P, Moodle and Blackboard systems.

This role focused on assisting VE, undergraduate and postgraduate students with academic writing and study skills as part of the academic skills team at RMIT Library. I designed online educational resources and delivered face-to-face and online services, including workshops and consultations. My day-to-day work also included file management and data collection, data analysis, process mapping and data visualisation to inform my team, managers and other university stakeholders.

I worked exclusively with international students in the Pathways School and presented weekly seminars and in ‘History of Ideas.’ This course helped students to develop core academic skills by exploring ideas from Western history and philosophy. In this course, I worked with first year undergraduate students and assisted them to develop key communication skills through the study of human, animal and artificial intelligence. I facilitated weekly seminars where students discussed issues relating to human and animal personhood, Australian values, consumer culture, Indigenous identity, Transgender identity, artificial intelligence.

I led multiple research projects on Ancient Greek poetry, classical mythology and WWI history while assisting Professor Christopher Mackie. This role was self-directed and required a high level of attention to detail because I was working with ancient languages (Greek and Latin) and needed to provide accurate research summaries.

As seminar leader, I facilitated weekly seminars where students learned about the Enlightenment, Individualism, Democracy, Imperialism and Secularisation.
