• Develop and design digital and print marketing materials for internal and external audiences
• Manage the creative execution of digital and print newsletters, annual reports and other stewardship pieces

• Supports the Foundation’s mission and goals by creating and implementing marketing, communication and brand development strategies.
• Acts as the editor and writer of all print and electronic materials
• Writes feature articles, position responses, press releases and speeches. Builds brand through the writing and telling of compelling stories
• Develops and manages strategic partnerships with local media including building relationships
• Acts as the Foundation's spokesperson with the media
• Ensures all internal and external communication tools are consistent with the Make-A-Wish brand and follow all branding guidelines

• Create and design effective and innovative advertisements for clients in newspapers across Alberta
• Applied visual identity guidelines to create page layouts and story design

• Assists in the development and management of the MacEwan brand
• Responsible for external, non-recruitment communications activities including annual report, fact card, graphics standards manual, website content
• Develops and implements strategies to communicate effectively with government officials and the community

• Promote and position the university within the community for the purposes of broad student recruitment
• Provide communications services and support to a variety of faculties and departments.
• Coordinate the writing, design, printing and distribution of university recruitment publications
• Coordinate, design, layout and produce internal newsletter and newsletter to school counselors (print & electronic versions)
• Advised on application of corporate visual ­­­­identity and updated website
• Conduct research, plan special events, liaise with media, provide government relations support, update corporate website.
