Working within a project team, I am supporting the implementation of the National Operational Guidance (NOG) which was designed by the NFCC for National Fire Services to provide a one-stop shop for good practice operational guidance that can be tailored to local fire service needs. As a team, we are improving the training packages and the maintenance of skills structure to ensure that the operational training meets the requirements of NOG, whilst providing safe and effective training for all crews.Working with Regional FRS's we regularly research methods which offer the most effective outcomes and share resources to ensure we can offer the best cross border support in the future too.
