    In 2019 I returned from a study tour with the London UCL Institute of Education looking closely at the project ‘Maximising the Impact of Teaching Assistants’.In 2020 consulted on The Australian Guidance Report for Teaching Assistants with SVA.I now lead professional learning for teaching assistants around their role, purpose, and contribution in inclusive education. We have high expectations of all students, and we know that with the right support all students can succeed, and so we enhance each teaching assistants’ expertise in implementing inclusive education practices through continuous professional learning, coaching, and mentoring. Alongside school leaders we remove barriers and support inclusion building quality teaching and learning practices, that improve student learning and well-being outcomes.Together building confident, skilled, and capable teaching assistants.
