Bringing forward a diverse career that spans 15 years of government and private enterprise, I work towards implementing legislation while drawing on practical experience to ensure great outcomes for clients. Complimented by my recent studies, this encompasses coastal management experience, environmental relevant activities, development approvals for large subdivisions, and compliance in the mining sector. I have recently completed a Bachelor of Laws LLB (Hons) specialising in Land, Planning, and Environmental Law. My high achievement is evident in being awarded the highest grade in land law, criminal law, and contract law, and awarded the Cullinane Law Scholarship in 2022 and 2023. Engaged in the academic environment, I was the 2022 Diversity and Equity Officer and 2023 Mayo Conference Conveyor for the James Cook University Law Student Society.I had been in the Australian Army Reserve for over seven years and during this time I was a member of the Royal Australian Transport Corps.With results-oriented execution infusing my academic qualifications, state government experience is at the core of what I do. In a practical sense, I have developed an astute vision for my work with a depth of experience. I have also championed high performance in teams, with attentive follow-through and insurance of alignment within all operations overarching short- and long-term objectives for the team. Applying a forward-thinking strategy and mentoring through deliberate influence are just some of what I am most proud of in my career.
