To advocate for preschool students who are participating in an education program tailored to children with disabilities. To participate in instruction that involves proper interventions for students with disabilities. To advocate for and train parents to implement proper strategies and appropriate techniques for parenting children with disabilities. To participate in formulating individualized education plans for students with disabilities. To help families seek and utilize helpful resources in the community to best meet needs and requirements for optimal health, well-being, and success at home and in the community.

To advocate for individuals with disabilities to live more independently at home and in the community. To provide assistance with money management and effective budgeting, transportation, obtaining employment, education, housing, maintaining proper living arrangements and safety and cleanliness in the home, maintenance of mental health and medical care, and accommodating other case-by-case needs. This includes assisting clients with accessing resources in the community to ensure optimal quality of life.

Record-keeping, filing documents, posting transactions, greeting the public, facilitating phone and internet communication.

To formulate and implement individualized education plans for students with disabilities. To formulate lesson plans and implement effective co-teaching practices in collaboration with the regular education teacher. To plan and work with families to become and remain proactively involved in student education. To foster and advocate for optimal growth, communication, learning, and independence for students with disabilities.
