Lead and facilitated company wide cross functional teams through a category management process in the areas of Print and Document management, workers compensation, medical equipment, office equipment and supplies. Delivered an average of 30% in savings through standardization and supplier rationalization processes. Project Manager – Kaiser Permanente, Oakland, CaliforniaResponsible for all the equipment and supplies required for new hospitals, medical office buildings and renovation projects. Completed over 100 projects with a budget over $11 billion in spend over a period of five years. Responsibilities also included managing a procurement team and all communications between hospital administrators and staff, contractors, architects, designers and equipment planners. Lead a change management project in the re-design process in the building of new hospitals, medical office buildings and renovation projects. Utilizing a turnkey approach increased customer satisfaction from 61% to 90% and reduced project time by one-third. Lead the start-up and execution of an on-line ordering data base that encompassed specifications and orders to suppliers for all equipment required for new hospitals and remodels.
