In the beginning of my time at Airedale, I was mainly observing other audiologists but as the work placement went on I was given responsibilities and appointments to do on my own. These included, hearing tests such as pure tone audiometry, tympanometry, uncomfortable loudness levels (as well as others), ear impressions, hearing aid fittings and verifications, follow up appointments, hearing aid repairs and reassessments. I also performed direct referrals under supervision, assisted with paediatric appointments and vestibular testing (vestibular testing was done at Bradford Royal Infirmary) and also worked on the reception desk, making and adjusting appointments as per the patients request either by phone or in person.

During my time at Warburton's I ensured new stock that had been delivered was correct to what had been ordered, and then put away into the correct cupboards and shelves. I would ensure surfaces were clean both on the shop floor and in the dispensing area, I would dispense medication into organised medication trays, get prescribed medicines ready for customers and I also worked on the shop floor working with customers, guiding them to items they wished to purchase, giving them information when I could but also having them talk to the pharmacist when required as well as working on the till.
