Principle course instructor for Junior Engineering Officer Pre-Employment Training, delivering specialist training to experienced Engineering Officers, preparing them for their airworthiness authorisation boarding process on assignment to front-line operational Squadrons. Responsible for improving and developing the course to include relevant and up to date scenarios and examples and ensuring content reflects current governance.

The UK's engineering representative in Joint Operational Test Team for the Joint Strike Fighter (Lightning), a team involving multiple Nations and disciplines. Responsible for designing and implementing ground engineering trials for Lightning, including weapons and ground support equipment. Providing evidence and preparing briefs for high-level stakeholders in the Programme to allow decisions to be made for moving forward in the project towards operational capability. Leading the engineering trials for the first UK evaluation of the F-35B Lightning onboard the Queen Elizabeth Class aircraft carrier.

Responsible for the airworthiness of up to 16 Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft, with direct command of 60 mixed trade (Avionics, Mechanical Weapons) personnel. Responsible for supporting and delivering serviceable, capable and airworthy aircraft in support of training, QRA and operational requirements.Holder of airworthiness risk through the management of preventative maintenance and deferment of corrective maintenance when deemed operationally necessary.Deployed experience as the lead shift engineer on multiple overseas deployments.
