As an experienced educator, parent and active member of the Pemberton Catholic community my ongoing role involves the considered liaison between St Josephs Primary, Pemberton Parish Council, Parish Liturgy Committee and the broader Pemberton community. These different roles strengthen the schools educational, sacramental and Religious education programmes and involve my special interest of the use of technology for both education and spiritual development in an appropriate and meaningful manner. My belief and intent as an educator is that religious education should be treated as another educational subject with all the appropriate content rigour of any other learning area and that an informed and developing understanding of all learning areas, which includes religion, promotes the potential of the individual and the growth of healthy spirituality.
