Worked closely with 7 Donor Centre Managers to ensure strategic objectives are understood and plans are in place to support and enable teams to succeed to meet blood collection targets, whilst maintaining exceptional customer service and regulatory and safety compliance.Key achievements:-Demonstrated leadership and communication capabilities to successfully lead a team of 7 direct reports and 110 overall reports to deliver required Queensland blood collection targets 2017, 2018, 2019.-Improved customer satisfaction to Net Promotor Score 90 through strong customer-centric leadership.-Maintained operations within operating budget whilst achieving growth in productivity and collections driving efficiencies and effective cost management.-Proactively developed and built deeper relationships with donor centre teams to enable and influence a culture of improved employee engagement.-Utilised communication and interpersonal skills to provide subject matter expert contribution to a National workshop to further develop improve the generic design of donor centres to meet operational needs focussing on donor experience, customer service, staff engagement, safety and regulatory compliance. -Reinforced a safety culture by leading by example and helping team members to understand the need to take responsibility on individual and peer safety and importance of identifying hazards to improve work practices and environment. Our team consistently achieved specified collection targets every year 2009 through 2007.-Proactively reinforced a culture that delivered the best experience for every donor, every time resulting in consistently achieving >90% customer satisfaction.-Through consistent mentoring and coaching to drive employee engagement, regular communication through various channels to ensure currency on issues and involvement in decision making and problem solving, I successfully improved Employee Engagement Index score from 79% to 89% over 3 years.-Strengthened and shaped team success with compliance to Blood Service policies, procedures and regulations governing blood collection, facility and equipment management and ensuring implementation of appropriate corrective action. This enabled our Donor Centre to receive zero citations during Therapeutic Goods Administration inspections and audits in audits 2009 and 2016.-Ensured a safe environment for staff and donors through active focus, identification, reporting and mitigation of hazards.
