I am a student currently completing my Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Bioinformatics at the University of Pretoria. I completed my undergraduate degree in a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology with a major in Plant Sciences. I am an eager learner who is always willing to undertake new challenges such as gaining leadership, communicative or critical thinking skills. As a driven bioinformatics researcher, I have hands on experience with sequencing technologies and various Bioinformatics tools. I also hold various coding expertise such as in Python, Linux and R. I am particularly interested in roles at the intersection of bioinformatics and agriculture, where I can contribute to innovative solutions in agricultural genomics or plant biotechnology. My goal is to connect with professionals and organizations that share my enthusiasm for advancing research through interdisciplinary collaboration.
