Assist in the development of percutaneous AV fistula programs from patient identification through cannulation. This includes the training of physicians, ultrasound technologists, dialysis techs and nurses, and other staff in mapping evaluations, creation and maturation procedures, follow-up ultrasound exams, and successful cannulation of the fistula.

Perform various vascular studies including upper and lower extremity venous and arterial duplex, carotid duplex, venous reflux, aorta/iliac, mesenteric, portal/splenic vein duplex, renal artery, bypass graft surveillance, vein mapping, dialysis fistula evaluation, pulse volume recording, and segmental Doppler pressures. Act as preceptor for vascular students, residents, and junior technologists.Operate as assistant system admin on every level of the implementation of a new digital dictation and imaging system including connectivity, customization, process development, system access, documentation, security access and user accounts, troubleshooting, data base maintenance, and staff training from secretaries to vascular surgeons to IS Support personnel. Developed detailed user manual for system as one was not provided by the vendor. Work with Cupid build team as a subject matter expert to develop customization for conversion to Epic. Perform extensive testing of Cupid build for functionality. Function as an Epic superuser upon go-live.

Perform abdomen, small parts, trans-abdominal and trans-vaginal gynecological and first trimester obstetrical exams. Perform portable cranial and abdominal exams on Neonatal Intensive Care patients.Assist as required with breast cyst aspirations, core biopsies, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrostomy procedures, and biopsies.

Responsible for hiring/firing ultrasound staff, shift scheduling, ordering of supplies. Present department needs to hospital capital equipment board for major purchases. Perform patient exams as sonographer.

Perform various abdomen, small parts, trans-abdominal and trans-vaginal obstetrical and gynecological sonograms as required. Assist in procedures including aspirations, biopsies, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and needle localizations.
