I am an experienced strategic leader, passionate about building strong and effective teams and driven by the desire for every child, young person and family to have opportunities for fullness of life. I have expertise in overseeing complex operations and managing large and geographically dispersed teams. I'm both a leader and experienced practitioner with an extensive background in providing a diverse portfolio of compliant, safe, fun and effective programs engaging children, young people and families and supporting them to thrive. As a relational leader I've demonstrated the ability to foster strong internal and external stakeholder relationships, supporting program delivery, partnership development and program promotion. My data informed understanding of stakeholder engagement has resulted in successful supporter engagement, communication and fundraising outcomes. With a background in primary education, I am a teacher and traininer with significant experience equipping volunteers of all ages, in both Australia and around the world, to engage safely and effectively with children. As a resource developer, I've provided products and activities to empower children and families to respond to issues of poverty and injustice and make a positive difference in the world round them.I am a leader of influence seeking to bring out the best in others, modelling values and best practise. During a time of organisational transition I was responsible for shaping a stakeholder strategy and working collaboratively to articulate organisational values, ethos and culture.
