Responsible for helping shape the programming for QuakeCon events. From integrating and expanding existing programs to designing new programs to entertain attendees.

The senior director of organized play is challenged with providing engaging entertainment programming for attendees that leverages the unique ability of QuakeCon to bring people together to play in ways that aren’t possible at home or at other events. Our programming provides opportunities for attendees that span wide range of interests and skill levels including: professional esports, tabletop gaming, leagues and tournaments in the BYOC, cosplay, and social activities.

Starting as a volunteer working with the farm animals and quickly moving up to the primates, large cats, and marsupials. Responsible for the weekend care of 150+ animals. Cleaning environments, catering to dietary needs, health, and mind enrichment activities for the animals. Cage maintenance and new enclosure building. Educational enrichment to visitors of the zoo by giving detailed tours relating animal facts and personal animal stories. Designed and implemented a Junior Zookeeper Volunteer camp for students to experience working with animals.
