Leanne has acquired unique successful experience in directing businesses that operate 24/7 such as hotels, retirement homes and senior condominium real estate.Leanne has demonstrated great collaboration working with industry leaders through boards and committees to broaden her knowledge in issues related to older adults, the home care sector, condominium management and hospitality. Leanne’s ability to intuitively inspire her teams to achieve excellence in the care and service they provide is her most valued asset, as most recently demonstrated during unprecedented times pivoting all areas of operations during the Covid-19 pandemic.Leanne is a 1988 graduate of the University of Guelph's School of Hotel and Food Administration (HAFA) and has a Bachelors of Commerce (Hons) and Alumni in Disney’s world class Magic Kingdom College Program, completing an internship at EPCOT Centre early in her post secondary education. After retirement, Leanne acquired her condominium management limited licence.Leanne has a strong commitment to the hospitality and the Seniors' Housing industries and has served many years with the Toronto Airport Hotel Association, Radisson's Sales and Marketing Committee and has been an active member of United Way SENACA Senior Day Board of Directors, Halton region's Older Adult Advisory Committee for over a decade and currently is an active member on three condominium boards, completing the CAO Director certification with a keen interest in condominium property management.Currently Leanne volunteers on 3 condominium boards as a Director and co-chair of the inaugural Age Friendly committee for the Town of Grimsby and an active member on the Family Council of Shalom Village LTC.Open to contributing on boards, committees, short term contract or longer term part term opportunities in businesses associated with the service industry, with a warm spot for older adults and the retirement sector.
