• Worked extensively across Europe in a wide variety of sectors for both internal IBM and external clients• Overdelivered and exceeded a client’s savings target resulting in a 3-year deal being extended to a 10-year deal.• Consistently hit between 37% and 52% savings within the first 3 years whilst expectations were to save just 10% – this was across all indirect procurement categories • Utilised stakeholder management to integrate with existing client teams and get them to collaborate instead of working counter-productively, often when their senior management were resistant• Generated initiatives and empowered stakeholders to lead and take ownership for positive delivery. Initiatives pertained not just to cost savings, but holistic process change and enhancements. • Changed incumbent suppliers and replaced with new suppliers without disruption to clients or employees and delivered cost savings to the business. Achieved this in 12 months• Incurred cost savings of circa £4 – £5 million within 3 months, well ahead of the 12-month target
