Collaborative and thoughtful professional who leans on best practice to produce successful outcomes, navigate systems change and design equitable organizational solutions. I've worked with children and youth for 20 years and have a background in child development and educational interventions. I have always looked to the developmental needs of children as a guide for for my practice, whether as an interventionist, educator, mentor or leader. I excel at and enjoy coaching others toward improvement through modeling and problem solving and I am adept at engaging the systems around children at various intervention points (i.e. the family, teachers, community supports, policy, etc.). As a trauma-resourced professional, I have been trained to identify and address the special developmental circumstances of children encountering chronic and community stress, but also realize that trauma-informed practice is truly developmentally informed lens that identifies, prioritizes and meets the deep needs of children in their contexts.
