I provide direct service with children with autism in a clinical setting.Responsibilities include:- Building positive rapport with my client and their families. Trust and positive interactions are key to the foundation of successful therapy. - Knowledge of ABA principles and techniques and understanding how to implement them. Continuing my education by utilizing resources, working closely with my supervisor, and keeping up to date on current research. - Quantifiable data collection. Accurately recording behaviors, tracking targets, and meeting trial count requirements per session. Logging observable behavior changes and client's progress. - Collaborative mindset and professional attitude with coworkers; Compassionate, energetic, and positive approach with clients. - Quick, on-your-feet thinking, creativity, and ability to handle unexpected challenges. - Passion, integrity, and commitment to helping others succeed and achieve their goals.

Responsibilities included:- Implementing interventions outlined in the individualized treatment plan- Working with directly with clients across home based, community, and school based environments. - Performing ABA procedures for targets- Monitoring, prompting, and reinforcing student behaviors- Assisting in daily living tasks such as getting dressed, eating, hand-washing, and brushing teeth- Assisting clients in developing personal and academic goals, and implementing goal setting strategies for achieving them- Collecting data and maintaining daily logs of behavioral progress
