About Leanne Petersen
Leanne Petersen is a writer and independent curator and producer from London, England. Her writing is mainly concerned with Black British visual artists with a focus on oral and written histories, lived experiences and introspection surrounding identity and representation. Most recently she has produced the second iteration of the Hackney Windrush Art Commission by Thomas J Price entitled ‘Warm Shores’ 2022 and is the recipient of the British Art Network project bursary which led to the realisation of 'Black Art & The Burden of Representation' seminar at the Paul Mellon Centre in October 2022 where she held an in conversation with the Danish/ Trinidadian artist Jeannette Elhers.
