Leanne Ross is an accomplished leader in the insurance industry, bringing passion and creative strategy to all she does.Currently, she serves as Utica National's National Sales & Distribution Leader. As the head of sales and distribution for the organization, she is responsible for the overall sales strategy and agency distribution management for all parts of the $1.6B+ company - including Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, Specialty Segments, and Founders Insurance. She provides leadership to the Zone Leaders, their seven Regional Vice Presidents and Sales teams, as well as to the Inside Sales and Sales Execution & Development teams.Most recently, Leanne was the Commercial Lines National Sales & Distribution Leader for Utica where she was responsible for the Sales and Middle Market Underwriting teams. She led the segment to significant growth and implemented key sales disciplines and best practices. Prior to this, she was the National Sales Leader for Renaissance Alliance. During her nearly four years with the organization, she spearheaded an aggressive growth strategy to bring on new member agencies and expand geographically, helping to grow Renaissance from approximately $550M to over $3.6B in written premium during that time. Prior to joining Renaissance Alliance, she was founder and president of IVY LADDER, providing sales consultation and career coaching services. Previously, Leanne was a Regional Sales Executive at The Hartford, where she oversaw Small Commercial Segment $100M+ operation for the Boston Regional Office, leading a team of sales representatives and 300+ agency relationships in four states. She was responsible for managing the agency distribution partnerships to leverage Small Commercial product offerings for increased profitable sales in the Regional Office. Before this, she served as Commercial Lines Manager and Sales Executive for Brown & Brown’s Detroit Division. She oversaw the sales and service operations of the division, carrier relationship management, and marketing of new Middle Market business to carriers. She was responsible for recruiting, hiring and training of both sales producers and account management staff. Leanne holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Michigan State University. She is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), a Certified Risk Manager (CRM) and a licensed property & casualty producer. She lives in Hinsdale, IL with her husband Mike (Great Lakes Regional President of AssuredPartners) and young daughter. She is active in her church, loves to travel, working out, playing tennis and reading.
