With over 15 years of vast Marketing, Customer and Event Management experience, much of my professional journey has been spent working for a small, medical device business unit that developed, marketed and sold diagnostic test kits globally for clinical and research use. Under the guidance of larger, diagnostic and pharmaceutical parent companies, I was responsible for managing the marketing and customer support departments. The challenge of running multiple departments has given me an extensive background in developing various promotional materials, print/online ad campaigns, and website content along with managing the trade show events, forecasting and order processing. As a core team member of group projects involving multi-media PR/marketing campaigns and new product launches, I had the pleasure of working with colleagues and customers of different cultures and countries from around the world. In 2012, I decided to reduce my time in the workforce to focus on raising my young children and began working remotely as needed for a small marketing agency. Then in 2014, I assumed the role of Marketing and Event Coordinator for a retirement and wealth management advisory firm and have continued my career in the financial industry ever since. This new Marketing path has given me the opportunity to utilize my existing expertise and while offering me exposure to radio show broadcasting, social and digital media campaigns, website blogging as well as the coordinating of client events and educational, workshop seminars. By embracing new challenges and opportunities, I have continued to expand upon my marketing skills and enhance my creativity. My personal and professional goal is to always be more than just a team member but more importantly, bring value to any team.
