Key responsibilities includes devising an effective annual marketing and communications strategy. Delivering the objectives of the strategy and constantly reviewing and developing it. Working to promote the Hospice at Home West Cumbria brand and act as brand guardian ensuring consistency and visibility of brand across the organisation and within the local communities in which we serve. Working with colleagues and supporters to compile content for internal and external news items/information to ensure people (internal and external) are informed, engaged and connected to what’s happening across the organisation and understand how they can contribute to meeting the charity objectives and support the organisation. Leads on the delivery of creative and engaging internal, local, regional and national awareness campaigns to increase engagement levels and opportunities for income generation.Day to day management of the company website, social media platforms and other digital communication tools such as e-marketing and e-fundraising, creating an engaging and participative online experience.

Managing all areas of Marketing to effectively generate enquiries and profitable sales in line with departmental and company objectives. *Deliver agreed, strategic marketing plan to time and within budget. *Manage marketing budget/ spend accordingly.*Oversee all product, sector and customer specific promotions. *Oversee all new product launches.*Oversee all exhibition activity. *Continuously research and monitor marketing opportunities. *Where possible, measure effectiveness of marketing activity/initiatives.*Be fully conversant with Company Procedures and processes in order to guide and support the team. *Work within all areas of the business on projects as required.*Attend and present at regular meetings.

To provide marketing and sales support in the development and maintenance of a targeted prospect list, supporting the creation of digital lead generation activities and marketing support. • Researching, verifying and improving prospect and customer contact lists.• Implementation of Salesforce CRM system across the CADS Group, helping managers and company owners with support and training as required.• Assisting in creating and developing website traffic and specific lead generation campaigns.• Using Social Media channels to support lead generation and SEO activity.• Helping to improve effectiveness of PPC and SEO activity with keyword research and competitive analysis. • Helping to analyse the success of the campaigns and recommend future improvements.• Writing online content and press releases.• Developing list of target media, tracking forward features lists for opportunities and developing ideas to generate media coverage. • Day to Day tactical marketing support to the Marketing Manager (Including PR and events)• Providing the monthly lead generation report for discussion at each management meeting. • Sales support and proposals assistance

To assist Sales and Marketing Management and support the department with co-ordination of all sales and marketing activities on a worldwide basis.Working with the necessary internal personnel and external agencies/suppliers to create, maintain and distribute sales information and media materials, the logging and tracking of sales opportunities, the organisation of promotional events, the management of CRM data in terms of sales and marketing reports and other general administrative tasks to assist with the efficient running of the Sales and Marketing Department.• Manage CRM system in terms of sales and marketing data to ensure that it is kept fully populated with current data using a number of sources.• Ensure that the CRM is kept up to date by the regional sales/operations resources.• Assist with the creation and maintenance of the opportunity prospecting system, including opportunity alert distribution to the sales team and follow-up management.• Assist with the marketing and promotion of the company to reach the desired target audience.• Provide assistance with preparation and organisation for upcoming exhibitions worldwide, which is likely to include stand materials, advertising & sponsorship opportunities as well as all associated logistics of the event and personnel attending.• Sales support & proposals assistance when required.• Liaising with the Proposals Dept when customer RFQ's are received along with other departments when proposals are being worked on or progress to a work order.• Attending networking and exhibition events if required.• Assistance with the planning and co-ordinating of staff events/social and charity orientated.• Planning and purchasing or promotional merchandise to suit specific events/exhibitions and general corporate requirements.
