As a respected leader in our organisation, I lead and oversee a team that drives social and community-based marketing and communication programs to all Victorians. Some of my key accountabilities are the strategic development of the Division’s Business Plan, including forward planning and risk analysis ensuring it aligns with the Corporate Plan. I develop and implement marketing and communication strategies and campaigns and are responsible for the corporate website, intranet, social media, branding, events, campaigns, sponsorship, budget, internal communications and when required, media management. All of this requires me to work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including the Commissioner’s, CEO, Executive Team, Department of Transport and Minister’s Officer.

The VTD is part of the Department of Transport and was established in 1994. It is the peak regulator of Victorian taxis and hire vehicles and also issues Driving Instructor Authorities.Achevements:• Developed and implemented the Passenger Education Communications Strategy which was endorsed by the Minister's Office, taxi industry and other key stakeholders• Wrote, produced and placed several advertisements for the Passenger Education Campaign• Wrote, produced and distributed the new Getting around in Victoria’s taxis and hire vehicles brochure• Wrote and managed the development of the new ‘Taxi Tips’ web page on taxi.vic.gov.au• Managed the production and distribution of the new taxi newsletter – CabChat• Deveoped the Driver Health and Wellbeing Strategy• Worked with WorkSafe Victoria on educating drivers about their health and wellbeing. For example, to date we have conducted WorkSafe health checks in Geelong, Dandenong, Ballarat and Bendigo• Formed strong partnerships with Destination Melbourne, WorkSafe Victoria, Tourism Victoria, Melbourne Concierge Group, City of Melbourne and Melbourne Airport to communicate VTD's messages• Managed the coordination of the photo shoot for the VTD’s new photo library
