About Leanora Mims

I am fortunate enough to be part of trainining future STEM.ORG tech entrepreneurs in developing 21st Century skills to help level the playing field for low access, low opportunity. I have recently attained my Distinguished STEM.ORG Certified Fellow Educator. My certification as an Executive Team Leader with Minority-Veteran Owned, STEM Organizations enables me to scale my experience in ways I could only dream of. I consult with the Executive Leadership at Bennett Warren and Associates, Rae Lewis Foundation and the I.M.P.A.C.T. ZONE. As well as MVP Superbowl Great, Santonio Holmes, Jr. My direct report is Mr. Stephen Warren. I develop and implement the Invictus Curriculum for students. We provide 21st Century STEM and mental health, wellness training so that students may graduate from the rigorous course of study with a Career Development and Occupational Studies Credential/Pathway to Graduation with specific focus on STEM.ORG training and STEM.ORG career development. Another area of specialty is working with retiring military personnel who are starting their own STEM businesses. My specific area is working with veterans who are ADA identified. I enjoy working with the veterans as they have given so much to our country and I have learned so much working with them. They are Computer Technology specialists.I also work with CEO's of non-profit organizations in developing grants assisting with marketing initiatives that develop branding strategies that allow them to stand on the foundation that inspires them to be 21st Century leaders in capturing grants in the global market. I enjoy this work, it is very satisfying as I get to work with great people by adding value to their vision and their mission. This is my calling and I am so grateful to be able to do the kind of work that I am doing. And to be able to contribute in a way that are so soul satisfying.

    I can't say enough about the level of committment and sense of integrity to our mission that Jake bought to the position he held with our organization. He hit the ground running. He assisted with the 2011 KidsBookfest by helping me to set up and helping me to take down. He stayed for most of the day and did not complain or find a way to leave early. He helped with a young student who knew that the capital of Sudan was Khartoum. He read to the children and he used puppets from the TCPL. I am so impressed with the level of professionalism in someone so young. He is dedicated and committed. We all wish that our children and grandchildren could acquire the skill set that this young person has. He is an outstanding role model. I do not worry about this young man fitting in anywhere he chooses to go in the world. I just wish that we had enough money to keep him with our office.

    I worked for a company that was started by a visionary, John Alexander. I was fortunate enough to work under the direct leadership of the Director of Sales, Constance Woodrow. I experienced the greatest professional and personal growth under Ms. Woodrow's leadership. I was responsible for creating a database using Excel to upload existing contracts with changes to obscure clauses so that the salesforce could view the contracts and create new contracts if necessary. Under the leadership of Ms. Woodrow I was able to make a difference in an area where I was able to bring my best effort every single day. I miss Ms. Woodrow and will always be indebted to her for allowing me to grow professionally during my tenure at the CBORD Group.
