I’m an Director in Atelier Ten's New York office, a globally renowned environmental design consulting firm that delivers creative, unique, and innovative design solutions for commercial, civic, and academic institutions worldwide. Since our founding in 1990, we have helped countless clients identify their architectural needs and guided architects, engineers, and designers on how to design built environments for increased performance, energy efficiency, comfort, and sustainability.With a background in engineering, architecture and sustainability consulting, I apply both analytical and creative perspectives to multiple project scales and building typologies, from individual building development to institutional campus masterplans. I love exploring new project typologies and finding innovative approaches that create value. I am also passionate about engaging with the larger sustainability and architecture communities and leading the discussion on emerging trends and technologies. As a Board of Governor for ASHRAE NY for five years, I drove the discussion regarding high performance energy systems, New York City energy codes, and resiliency, and translated this experience to my students while teaching at Parsons The New School, Columbia University, and NYIT.
