Senior Software Engineer
Current✅ Contributed to the development of Bayer's Climate FieldView application, a digital platform that provides farmers with valuable insights and data-driven tools to optimize their farming operations. My role involved enhancing the application's functionality and user experience with technologies such as NodeJS, React, and the many AWS services. ✅ Played a pivotal role in creating and refining Bayer Digital Farming's APIs. These APIs serve as the backbone of Bayer's digital agriculture initiatives, enabling seamless integration of data and services across various farming applications and platforms. Through my contributions, I helped streamline and enhance the functionality of these APIs with event driven architectures and domain driven design, ensuring optimal performance and reliability for users in the agricultural sector.✅ Spearheaded the development of an application designed to streamline the onboarding process for partners into Bayer's robust API ecosystem. This application, built with Apollo, Typescript, NodeJS, DynamoDB, React, and utility AWS lambdas, serves as a pivotal gateway, facilitating integration and collaboration between Bayer and its partners. ✅ Took the lead in implementing automated alert systems to monitor API consumption for onboarded partners within Bayer's ecosystem. These alert systems, running on Cron jobs, and SNS, alongside AWS lambda, were designed to proactively notify both partners and internal stakeholders of any deviations from expected API usage patterns.✅ Played a pivotal role in developing orchestration layers to seamlessly connect public-facing APIs with internal systems. These layers built with Express, NodeJS, containerized with ECR/ECS, and deployed with Gitlab pipelines served as the backbone of our architecture, ensuring smooth communication and data flow between external partners and our internal APIs. By implementing robust orchestration mechanisms, we optimized performance and facilitated efficient data exchange.
