My mission is to increase inclusion in the art, marketing and media industries. Authentic representation is only achieved when those represented are at the decision making tables. Currently, minorities make up <13% of professionals in these industries on the corporate level. The numbers are lower for executive positions. Achieving diversity in our workforce, talent pools and suppliers is possible once check boxes and diversity trainings are replaced with diving into the roots of personal and systemic barriers to inclusion. Intentional exposure to creatives that corporate players are unfamiliar with is the answer.I assist marketing agencies and associations in developing collaborative strategies to immerse themselves into new creative communities, bringing about lucrative and sustainable solutions that foster inclusion.
