Entry level Interior Designer seeking to expand my knowledge and design practices, while bringing a positive, diverse, and bright energy to a design team. I am a mother to a baby girl and two fur babies, military spouse and daughter, with a previous degree in Cosmetology. I am an active student member on multiple boards at Design Institute of San Diego : ASID Student Treasurer 2022-2023, ASID Event and Community Outreach Organizer 2019-2020, ASID- Student Member 2019-Present, DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) Student President Representative 2020-Present, Student Ambassador 2019-Present, and Social Media Ambassador 2022-Present. I work well in team setting while also being self sufficient. I enjoy the creative process of design, but I especially enjoy space planning which provides challenging yet rewarding results. I look forward to learning from industry leaders that have years of experience and knowledge and who share passionately with budding designers. My previous degree and career experience has allowed me meet many people from all different backgrounds and find a way to connect to them and provide professional services tailored to each client. This career has also allowed me to climb into a role of leadership with ability to positively lead a team in reaching various goals, that not only better the business but better themselves along the way. I am always striving to better myself as a designer and to learn from others. I believe sharing knowledge is one of the most powerful things to give to anyone and it is truly and endless gift.
