I joined Hewden to manage and improve the existing training department, leading a team of 14 staff (administrators, sales, trainers and plant assessors, growing the training business to £500K.I worked with the wider hire sales force promoting training courses to Hewden established customer base promoting and selling training courses as well as bringing in new business .I set up new training partnerships to increase the training we could offer, negotiating on rates with them to ensure we can achieve our profit margins and bring in new customers to the Hewden customer base.I developed marketing campaigns and special offers working with the marketing team to produce literature and e-shots.I trained and coached new starters on product knowledge and sales techniques and conducted successful telesales campaigns.I interviewed for new positions being an integral part in the selection process.Managing the schemes at the centre which included CPCS, NPORS, CSCS, IPAF, PASMA and IOSH/Site Safety Plus.
