Lydia Drown Email and Phone Number
I’ve always wanted to have a job that allows me to follow my passions. When I was young, this meant having a job that allowed me to be around horses all the time! As time went on, I started to search for a job that would allow me to keep learning and studying languages and I was lucky enough to become a teacher and pursue that passion for 10 years. Coming from a long line of teachers, it was hard for me to admit that it's time to move on into something new, But I have learned that the things that scare me the most are the ones that are the most worth doing! What useful lessons and skills have I learned as a teacher?-Effective and efficient communication is essential to keep clients happy.-Time management and organization will keep you sane.-Sometimes you have to prioritize what is the most important task(and which is least important!).-Collaborating with coworkers makes everyone better at their job. -It’s okay to make mistakes! You get to learn from them.-A growth mindset will take you far, be a lifelong learner!-Trying things that scare you (or you don’t feel qualified for) is where you grow the most!-Making people feel valued for who they are will make them want to work hard when you need them to. Where will I go with these skills and life lessons learned- only time will tell! Check back in 10 years to see what I’ve learned from my next adventure!
