My artwork tells the story of how all things are connected. Inspired by the natural world my imagery tells visual stories of the changing flow of nature. I scan painted and drawn media into pixels and then manipulate and integrate the imagery with digital painting, drawing and 3-D sculpting. The impact of digital technology has transformed activities such as painting, drawing, sculpture and music creating new forms,such as net art, digital installation art, and virtual reality. Electronic art is often, but not always, interactive. Artists make use of technologies like the internet, computer networks, robotics, wearable technology, digital painting, wireless technology and immersive virtual reality. I started drawing and painting as a young child and developed a very large portfolio of artwork and earned a two year full ride scholarship to attend the School of Art Institute of Chicago. The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) is one of America's largest accredited independent schools of art and design, located in Chicago, Illinois. SAIC has been recognized by Columbia University's National Arts Journalism survey as the most influential art school in the United States. The School of the Art Institute of Chicago has produced more Fulbright Scholars over the last decade then all other art and design schools in the nation. The notable Alumni of SAIC includes some of greatest creative minds in the United States like Walt Disney, Georgia O' Keeffe , Grant Wood, Thomas Hart Benton, Le Roy Neiman, Ed Paschke and Roger Brown. I was influenced by the studying the Chicago Imagists and took many classes with one of the most influential woman in the movement Phyllis Bramson. Their work was known for grotesquerie, surrealism and complete uninvolvement with New York art world trends. There are three distinct groups : The Monster Roster, The Hairy Who, and The Chicago Imagists.
