Support of volunteers in secondary markets to assist with the implementation, coordination and management of cost-effective fundraising activities.

Executes distinguished events, with accountability for significant income targets, as well as event-related mission and advocacy activities. Ensures goal achievement through effective leadership and collaboration with diverse teams, and the engagement and mobilization of volunteers. Works closely with Corporate Partners and Major Gifts staff to identify and cultivate donors for sustainable needs fundraising.

• Recruit, implement, and sustain volunteer relationships and community presence in support of mission delivery and fundraising activities in assignment area • Manage and implement signature fundraising event Relay For Life in assignment area with total monetary goal of $710,000• Develop community business plans for mission delivery and income development while integrating volunteers into the planning process• Contribute to area, state and division team through action plan and event management tool updates• Maintain open lines of communication within area team, and effectively communicate with supervisor as to updates in assignment area• Assist in additional events, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, CPS-3, and taking on Community Manager role in Pender County for a second time when needed• Contributed to the implementation of first successful CPS- 3 enrollment in North Carolina with a high-priority Tier 1 Cancer Center host site, New Hanover Regional Medical Center, in November 2012. This enrollment ended at 107% of CPS-3 Goal and was the first enrollment in North Carolina to go over goal.
