WHAT DO I DO?✒️I develop and implement strategies for dual career, welcome and integration services for the more than 80 Max Planck institutes. I support researchers to combine a demanding (international) career in science with a fulfilled career for their partner as well as international researchers in experiencing less hurdles when moving to Germany.✒️I support highly qualified women in shaping their career abroad, (re-)defining their career goals and their career strategy in the new country.✒️ I help employers (public institutions and others) to attract and retain international top talents by providing services to dual career couples when hiring a new employee.🔥 My WHY: the contribution to equal career opportunities. Overcoming the structural challenges women* (still) might face in their careers in science or when following their partner to another country, I am eager to define strategies to boost their careers and to work for and to advocate for better conditions for equal opportunities on societal and on employer level. Dual career offers can make a tremendous contribution to improved equal career opportunities for both partners. HOW?✨ As lead Dual Career, Welcome & Integration services at the HQ of the Max Planck Society;✨ as co-founder and trainer of Talent Interlock, providing dual career services, a variety of career training formats for international talents and consultancy on talent attraction, talent development, and talent retention strategies.🎤 Always interested in the stories people tell about their lifes and career paths and how those two intersect, I facilitate career events with empathy, an intuition for the right questions, and my expertise as the base for creating new insights. I share my expertise also as a speaker and in talks on topics like attracting international talents, dual career and equal opportunities (in science).🍀 I appreciate the feedback I receive – being a people's person, having a lot of warmth, a profound analytical approach and quite a lot of drive.
