Perform major, minor, and periodic maintenance on all parts of a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) to include, but not limited to: Electrical systems, CCW/HHW HVAC systems, Medical gas and vacuum systems, water heating systems, nurse call systems, biomedical devices, fire protection systems, etc. Additionally perform plant operations duties such as security, safety/life safety, environmental/housekeeping, materials handling, etc. Participates in leadership of the Environmental Services (EVS) department and acts as Director of Plant Operations/Safety Officer (DPO/SO) while the permanent DPO/SO is off-site. Sits on the Environment of Care Committee as well as the Emergency Management Committee.

Perform major and minor maintenance on all parts of an ammonia/CO2 cascading industrial refrigeration system including, but not limited to: rotary screw and reciprocating compressors, pressure vessels, spiral and impingement freezers, evaporators, cooling towers, motors, pumps, etc. Additionally perform major and minor maintenance actions on air compressors, boilers, ammonia chillers, water testing/treatment and industrial wastewater systems, Quikwater water heating systems, makeup air/exhaust systems, desiccant dryers, and facilities.

Primary duties include maintenance actions on HVAC and electrical systems using building automation systems (Metasys/Johnson Controls, Tracer Summit/Trane). Equipment serviced includes, but is not limited to: chillers, boilers, VAVs, pumps, air compressors, air handlers, heat pumps/packaged units, split HVAC systems, cooling towers, water treatment systems, lighting systems, etc. Additionally perform basic facilities maintenance actions such as plumbing, carpet repairs, painting/drywall repairs, landscaping/grounds maintenance, etc.

Perform major and minor maintenance on all parts of an automated storage and retrieval system (ASRS) that includes, but is not limited to: PLCs, control systems, conveyors, cranes, continuous and reciprocating lifts, scanners, motors, chain drives, variable frequency drives, MoviMot/MoviSwitch boxes, stretch wrappers, counters, timers, label machines, etc. Additionally perform routine, major, and minor maintenance actions on ammonia refrigeration systems, forklifts, battery changers, floor scrubbers, and facilities.

Perform routine, major, and minor maintenance actions on all areas of industrial chemical manufacturing to include, but not limited to: pumps, motors, hoses, storage tanks, chemical lines/joints (polypropolene, black iron, stainless steel), steam jackets, boilers, chemical testing, forklifts, fire suppression systems (water and foam), racking systems, siphon fillers, induction sealers, etc. Additionally perform duties as a member of the Hazmat Team.
