Spearhead the strategic direction, vision, and reach of BCDG and its membership through programs, strategic planning, and community outreach. Within my leadership role, I direct all program staff while guiding the implementation of component program units for three primary programs: Building a Lifetime of Options and Opportunities for Men (BLOOM); Boys and Young Men of Color (BYMOC); and Gang Reduction and Youth Development (GRYD). During my tenure, I supervised a team of 12 and operating budget of $1.2M. I directed and oversaw the administration of the gang prevention program including the monitoring and evaluation of program outcomes, annual audits, survey and assessment plan, and reporting requirements.☑ Supported initiatives by designing new programs and analyzing existing programs regarding their effectiveness.☑ Ensured pipeline of Youth Services Eligibility Tool (YSET)-eligible youth and supported recruitment and enrollment activities by developing processes and procedures such a rolling enrollment process, building relationships and meeting with external stakeholders to present the program and attract eligible participants, and tracking metrics.☑ Improved program delivery and efficiency by creating standard operation procedures (SOPs); evaluating and reconfiguring contractual compliance strategies; and developing onboarding, referral, and recruitment processes.☑ Recommended program improvements based on program assessment, evaluation, and progress report results. ☑ Facilitated baseline assessment of all GRYD program youth (academic, socio-behavioral and pro-social) and prepare Youth Development Plans.☑ Collaborated with business, civic, other organizations and stakeholders to develop activities that meet the needs and interests of South Los Angeles youth and the community. ☑ Attended Town Hall, call to action, staff, and parent meetings in addition to conducting home and court visits.

I directed case management program services for City of Los Angeles GRYD prevention program designed to assess appropriate prevention and intervention services. Additionally, I managed a team of nine case managers.
